Victoria Station steaks downgraded!!

Seriously! Was Victoria Station's steak that delicious many years back? I really can't recall.

I went to the Victoria Station near Pusat Bandar Damansara last week and it was quite a disappointed and EXPENSIVE trip.

Victoria Station, The House of Fine Steak. I don't find it fine at all.

Ruben and I ordered escargot and sirloin steak for food while for drinks, we ordered sparking grape juice.

The escargot was fine. Not many comments I can put on this dish. As for the sparkling grape juice, there's a whole lot of problems.

Firstly, they served the grape juice without chilling it first. Yea, they chilled it when they bring it to our table. Really stupid. Have they ever tried drinking a non-chill sparkling juice. It's awful! First sip of the drink was okay. But nearing the end of the bottle, both of us felt a weird tinge of taste to the drink.

Next time, I rather buy a normal sparkling juice from the supermarket and it'll only cost me half the price of this non-chilled sparkling juice.

Trust me, as much as this picture shows it's good, IT'S NOT. Haha...

Here comes my sirloin steak. The picture taken after I ate half of the steak. I kinda forgotten to take the picture when it first arrive. =P

The steak is okay. Yes, only okay. It's not the finest and the best steak I've ever eaten. No. I was expecting more from Victoria Station than to serve me that dish which turn out to be a disappointment.

If I were to compare this to The Ship, Victoria Station's steak totally have no match. Seriously! I really would not recommend to dine in Victoria Station. Food quality aren't worth the money, drinks a disappointment, and their staffs are like underpaid. So sad and slow.

Definitely no more Victoria Station for me.

3 opinions only?:

Hahahahaha... U're so funny. The Ship and Victoria Station are from the same owner la my dear.. Stop making a fool out of urself. I know cos they r my family friend.. Hahahahaha

Same owner does not mean the steaks are cooked equally well. I can attest to the bad experience I have with the Victoria Station, Seberang Jaya, Penang. The steaks are just not good at all. I can understand the need for you to support your family friend.

for me having the same owner doesn't determine the quality of the food unless they have a centralized kitchen.. Victoria Station's quality are not consistent.. frm my personal experience the outlet in PJ has very good steaks while the one in Subang does not.. I would recommend for u to try out Jake's Charbroil Steak in Damansara.. A lil expensive but definitely worth it :)
